Counting function of surge counter and surge arrester working principle
TSTLP TS-LSC3 lightning surge counter is used to count the number of the lightning strikes captured by the ese lightning rods or surge from surge protection devices. Lightning strikes measurement are though the induction of current and does NOT need any exterior power supply
TSTLP TS-LSC3 surge counter should be installed at a position along the down conductor(or grounding cable) where it can be accessed easily for regular inspection. Typically TS-LSC3 should be installed approx 2 meters from ground level or alternatively within the earth pit at the lower termination point of the down conductor(earthing cable).
